Equipment Operator - La Salle, CO
Join our Colorado team ~ we are looking for a full-time, skilled equipment operator to join our team on the farm year-round. This position involves a wide variety of tasks, such as operating different tillage implements with the latest, high-horsepower tractors, planting diverse cover crops, spraying corn, potatoes, and onions with a 120 ft. boom sprayer, driving silage and potato semis, operating a loader and forklift at times, managing irrigation pivots, and anything else that is needed throughout the different seasons. We offer competitive salary compensation (dependent on experience) and pay 75% of health insurance premium. We also offer vision and dental insurance. Performance bonus and vacation are also included in this full-time opportunity.

What you will be doing:
Operate heavy and complex equipment including planters, sprayers, harvesters, loaders, semi-trucks, and tractors with tillage implements
Mix and apply chemicals and fertilizer accurately
Transport equipment between locations and to and from fields
Perform light maintenance of equipment and implements including oil changes, using power tools, replacing bearings, light welding, and diligently monitor service intervals
Utilize and stay up-to-date on the latest technology in farming practices, such as tracking data through precision agriculture equipment and utilizing a variety of guidance systems
Manage and maintain irrigation pivots; monitor crops, check nozzles, replace wheels, gearboxes, and hoses as needed
Maintain organized and clean working areas in our shop
Work closely with management on communicating field progress, conditions, crops, etc.
Assist in all areas of farming depending on the season and crop
This job is a good fit for you if you have:
Prior John Deere equipment operating experience
Sprayer and pesticide application experience, applicator license preferred
Ability to work extended hours during planting and harvest seasons
Prior semi-truck operating experience and a Class A CDL preferred
Prior experience with irrigation pivots
General agricultural knowledge
Basic mechanical and troubleshooting knowledge
Good physical health and the ability to lift 50-100 pounds at times
Ability to work well in a team and independently
Willingness to learn, a strong work ethic, and attention to details

Delivery Truck Driver - La Salle, CO
Join our Colorado team ~ seeking an experienced Truck Driver, CDL encouraged, for our Denver deliveries to retail and foodservice distribution centers. This position can also include helping haul seed from out-of-state, as well as helping haul potatoes and equipment between here and our Clayton, NM operation. Also included in this position is helping with any trucking needs on the farm when not making deliveries. Full-time opportunity with medical, dental and vision. Performance bonus and vacation are also included in this full-time opportunity. Currently delivering two nights per week with flexibility to deliver early morning every day instead. Ability to be home daily in this position. Part-time opportunity could be considered here as well. Beginning as soon as possible.
